Wrestling interest meeting

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2:15 PM -- Cafeteria. Paperwork and information about the upcoming wrestling season will be distributed. Anyone who is interested in wrestling but unable to attend this meeting should contact Coach Roogow (droogow@verizon.net).

Centennial High School lockdown

This morning (TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27), the Howard County Police Department, in cooperation with the Administration of Centennial High School, conducted a lockdown and drug scan on the school campus. Scans like these are routinely conducted in Howard County high schools in an effort to maintain a safe school environment for all students and staff. During the scan, there were no disruptions to instruction or normal school operation. At the conclusion of the scan, the regular daily schedule resumed.

Students, find out how to maximize your National History Day Research

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 7 PM -- Howard County Library, Elkridge Branch. A college-bound event. Research experts will provide tips and tools for students who will be submitting projects to the local, state and 2012 National History Day Competition.  Meet History Day judges, learn strategies to locate sources. A college-bound event for students age 11-17 years, with parents. Registration required;  register online or call 410 313-5088.
