Driver's Ed classes at CHS

CHS BAND BACKERS, in coordination with Greg's Driving School, offer three (3) two-week, after- school, Maryland MVA-certified driver’s education classes for students age 15 years and older. First class session begins MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 in Room 912. Click here for more information.

Students invited to serve on HC DrugFree's Teen Advisory Council

HC DrugFree's Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is composed of Howard County high school students  who meet one Monday evening each month during the school year to discuss teen use of alcohol and other drugs, and to develop educational messages that promote HC DrugFree's vision of a County where teens are drug-free by choice. These students provide the crucial "youth perspective" to the staff and Board of Directors of HC DrugFree to increase the effectiveness of HC DrugFree's programs, newsletters, website, Teen Job & Volunteer Fair and other services. Order Eagle Spirit Bricks in time for Homecoming (Saturday, October 15)

DEADLINE is THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 for Eagle Spirit Bricks to be engraved and installed in the Stadium walkway in time for CHS Homecoming weekend.

Eagle Spirit Bricks are a Centennial Boosters Legacy Project fundraiser which, year after year, supports the high school's athletic and student activities programs. The personalized, engraved Bricks beautify the campus and are an enduring means of commemorating CHS people, accomplishment and events.

Click here for details, registration information about these after-school (3:30 - 4:45 PM) ballet and jazz dance enrichment sessions held in Centennial High School's new Dance Studio. Students will focus on the history, terminology and technique involved in learning choreography for performance. At the conclusion of the Fall session, students will have the opportunity to perform in concert with the Centennial High School Dance Companies. All levels of ability are welcome. Questions? Join Young Women's Giving Circle

Current and incoming high school students are invited to become part of the new wave of youth philanthropy by joining the Young Women's Giving Circle (YWGC) of Howard County, a component of the Women's Giving Circle (WGC) of Howard County. Students will learn about philanthropy, raising money, providing grants, and clarifying their priorities for making the world a better place.
