BUS TRANSPORTATION FROM THE PROM TO THE PARTY: Buses will transport students from the Prom at the Hippodrome to the After-Prom Party at LifeTime Fitness. Since the After-Prom Party is not a school–sponsored event, and because the Party takes place after midnight, Prom-goers with Provisional Driver's Licenses will not be legally able to drive to the After-Prom Party. Students can, however, take advantage of the buses that will meet students at the front door of the Hippodrome.
ARRIVING AT THE AFTER-PROM PARTY: Students will need to present their After-Prom ticket at the check-in tables. Students who've misplaced their tickets -- not to worry! If you've bought a ticket, your name is on the Party Guest List. Just make sure to bring an I.D. for verification at the check-in tables.
LOCKER ROOMS, CLOTHING STORAGE: LifeTime Fitness has spacious locker rooms for those who wish to freshen up or change out of Prom attire and into casual clothes. LifeTime's swimming pool will not be available for the After-Prom Party, so no swimsuits are necessary. However, there will be rock climbing and other active games for which students might want to have a change of clothes.
There will be a clothing storage area where students can check their evening bags, gowns or tuxedos; the storage area will be guarded by parent volunteers at all times. Students should pack a clothes hanger if they would like to hang-up their bag for the event.
NO NEED TO BRING CASH: The $5 ticket fee covers all Party games, activities, food and beverages. There will be lots to eat and drink at the Party –- panninis, pizzas, fruit trays, doughnuts,chips and pretzels, smoothies, frappuccinos, coffee and bottled water.
THE PARTY IS OVER AT 5 AM: Parents, if you're picking-up your student from the Party, please arrive on time so that parent volunteers who have been up all night running the Party can go home for some much-needed sleep.
