Dear HCPSS Parents, Teachers and Students,
It's been several months since the school system launched the Aspen Gradebook for secondary teachers and the HCPSS Family Portal for secondary school students and their families. In the spirit of continuous improvement, we're asking parents, teachers and students to complete a brief survey about their experience with the Family Portal or Aspen Gradebook. Your responses are completely confidential. Thank you for helping us enhance home-school communication. Science Fair judges needed
ADULT VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to serve as judges for ONE-HOUR SHIFTS (7:30 AM - 2 PM) at TOMORROW'S Science Fair in the Media Center.
You don't have to be a scientist, or have any sort of science background. All that is required is that you review science project displays and evaluate students' brief oral presentation for clarity, conciseness, i.e. "understandability." Science Fair judges will be provided with Evaluation Forms (see sample Form HERE).
For more information about judging shifts, science project categories and other details, please review THIS FORM provided by CHS Science Department Instructional Team Leader (ITL) Andrea Covington, and/or contact Mrs. Covington at ACovington@hcpss.org.

Strothers Family
Dear Centennial High School Community,
If you're interested in providing all, or part of, A SUPPER for the Strothers Family, you can sign up at this website:
If you'd like to see the "Items for Temporary Home" list that Robin Thomas has gathered to date as the Strothers prepare to move to temporary housing, and you have something you might be able to contribute, you can go to this website:
Thank you for lending a helping hand,
Bonnie Sorak PTSA President Centennial High School
Telephone: 410/465-0427 E-mail: chsptsapres@yahoo.com
We want to put together a memory book or DVD of pictures and video for the Strothers. Those of you who know Sherry well know that she is always filming and taking pictures. If we could just put together even a snapshot of the past for her, I know she would be so appreciative. Please send me prints of photos or DVDs that you may have of Anthony and Chad Strothers -- I'm thinking sporting events, concerts, awards ceremonies, preschool, first day of school, playing, anything!
Thank you again for everything you are doing to help the Strothers. Your compassion, concern and generosity are what is getting them through. They feel blessed to know such wonderful people.
